Pick ‘n Save Policies Wisconsinites Often Miss Before Checkout
Points you earned at Pick ‘n Save in October expire Nov. 30.
Pickup fees, delivery surcharges and payment holds come with their own fine print, which matters most when you shop online.
Here’s what Wisconsin shoppers should know before they check out at Pick ‘n Save, from coupons to pharmacy points.
Digital Coupons
Pick ‘n Save has been part of the Kroger family since the 2015 merger with Roundy’s.
The chain’s help page says your digital coupons work at any Kroger family of stores, as long as the product is in stock.
You load each coupon to your Shopper’s Card with the “Load to Card” button.
Many offers can only be loaded one time per household.
Start and end dates vary by offer, so check the expiration date shown on each coupon before you shop.
In the store, you scan your Shopper’s Card or enter your Alt ID at the register.
If you can’t add digital coupons to your Shopper’s Card, check that your Account Profile lists your Shopper’s Card number.
Pickup Rules
Pick ‘n Save waives its Pickup service fee on orders of $35 or more, as of October 2026.
Below that, the fee is $4.95, and restrictions may apply.
Your Pickup time slot is a one-hour window.
You can schedule a time slot up to seven days in advance.
On a next-day Pickup order, you can add or edit items until midnight the day before, but a same-day order can’t be changed once you submit it.
Either way, you can’t change your Pickup time or location after you order.
If you can’t pick up your order on the scheduled date, the store restocks your items, and you have to place the order again.
On Pickup orders, paper coupons can only be applied in person when you pick up, and that may add to your Pickup time.
Digital coupons loaded to your Shopper’s Card are applied automatically to your order.
If your order has alcohol, you need a government-issued ID when you arrive.
If you accept a substitution on a Pickup order, you pay the price of the substituted item.
You can refuse substituted items before your order is loaded into your car.
As of October 2026, prescriptions can’t be added to Pickup orders.
Pickup associates don’t accept tips.

Points Expiration and Redemption
Under Pick 'n Save's points program, points expire at the end of the month after you earn them, so points earned in October expire on November 30.
You earn 1 point for every $1 you spend on most groceries.
As of October 2026, every 100 points equal 10 cents off per gallon, up to 35 gallons, or fewer where policy or local regulation limits it.
Participating bp and Amoco fuel stations are among the places you can redeem.
Points cover groceries, too, at $1 off for every 100 points, with a daily limit of 1,000 points, or $10, as of October 2026.
Redeem inside your digital account before checkout, and the reward applies to your next eligible transaction, in store or online.
How Far 500 Pick 'n Save Points Go
Five hundred Pick 'n Save points equal 50 cents off each gallon of fuel, as of October 2026.
On a 20-gallon fill-up, that comes to $10 off.
The same 500 points equal $5 off groceries.
Delivery Fees and Tipping
Pick 'n Save's delivery fees vary by day and time slot, and the fee shows when you choose your slot.
Express Delivery adds a $4.95 surcharge on top of a standard delivery fee of $9.95, as of October 2026.
Members of Boost, the chain's paid membership program, get free delivery on orders of $35 or more.
Tipping depends on who delivers: Kroger Delivery asks you not to tip, but third-party partners like Instacart can accept tips.
Third-party drivers are paid a flat rate per delivery, but 100 percent of any tip you give goes directly to the driver.
You can cancel or modify your order until the shopper starts picking it.
But once you place an order, you can't change your delivery time or location.
Pharmacy Points
Pick 'n Save's pharmacy services are available in select areas, so check whether your store has one.
Once you find one, points still count at the pharmacy counter, but the rate depends on how your prescription is funded.
Non-federally funded prescriptions earn 25 points, while federally funded prescriptions earn 1 point for every $1 of out-of-pocket cost.
Qualified refills earn 25 points, and qualifying 90-day refills earn 75.
Restrictions and exclusions apply to the 25 points each vaccine earns at the pharmacy.
You can schedule an appointment or walk in to get up to three vaccines in one visit.
Online EBT Orders
Pick 'n Save accepts Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) payments on online Pickup and delivery orders, made with an Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) card.
The card isn't authorized to pay for tips, delivery fees, ordering fees, convenience fees or items that aren't SNAP-eligible.
You need another form of payment for those, such as a credit or debit card.
Weighted item prices shown online are average prices.
Items added at curbside or during fulfillment cause the final total to exceed the original total.
If the final total at fulfillment exceeds the original, Pick 'n Save charges your backup card.
You can authorize the EBT card only by entering your personal identification number (PIN) at checkout.
Which state rules and restrictions apply depends on the Pickup or delivery address you enter on your order.
Payment Holds
Pick 'n Save's accepted Pickup payments include credit, debit, gift cards and government benefits such as SNAP EBT, but not cash or checks, as of October 2026.
You'll see an estimated total at checkout, and your bank uses it as a hold on your account for 3 to 7 business days.
The hold isn't the final charge, but it may reduce your available funds or credit.
Your bank or card issuer decides when any hold is released.
The final price may change because of coupons, substitutions, taxes where they apply, or weighted items.
The exact price of each item is printed on your receipt.
When you pick up your order, bring the form of payment you used online, along with a backup credit or debit card.
On delivery orders, you won't be charged until the order is delivered.
If your final total comes in lower because prices changed, a refund for the difference may go to the card you paid with within 24 to 48 hours of delivery.
