Floridians who shop the frozen aisle at Publix may know that feeling well, especially with the holidays on the way.
Here are the freezer finds worth stocking up on next time.
1. Limited-Edition Premium Ice Cream
Publix’s August 14, 2026 release says its limited-edition ice cream flavors are only here for a short time.
Pumpkin Pie swirls whipped cream and piecrust pieces through pumpkin pie-flavored ice cream.
Deep Dish Apple Pie adds brown sugar-cinnamon sauce, apple pieces and sugar-rolled pie crust.
Eggnog and Bourbon Eggnog are both finished with nutmeg.
If you wait until the holiday week to look, they may be gone from your store.
Don’t wait that long.
2. Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits
Red Lobster’s Cheddar Bay Biscuits come frozen at Publix, with a garlic herb seasoning packet in the box.
Many shoppers wish they’d bought extra boxes.
A September 2024 Eat This, Not That! list of the best frozen foods at Publix included them.
The package says to bake them 25 to 30 minutes at 350°F, then brush on the herb butter made with the packet.
If dinner is close, you’ll have them out of the oven in under 30 minutes.
3. GreenWise Organic Ice Cream
GreenWise Organic Ice Cream has nine flavors on Publix’s frozen-food page, from Vanilla and Chocolate to Peanut Butter Trinity.
Salted Caramel and Chocolate Truffle are on the list too.
Publix says the ice cream is made with organic milk, cream and cane sugar, with no artificial preservatives, sweeteners or flavors.
You can try Peanut Butter Trinity or Cookies and Cream the next time you shop.
4. Savannah Classics Sweet Potato Casserole
Thanksgiving falls on November 26 this year, so Publix’s Savannah Classics Sweet Potato Casserole can wait in your freezer until that week.
It’s a family size.
The listing describes golden sweet potatoes blended with spices and topped with praline pecans.
You don’t have to thaw it first, since you can bake it from frozen in 40 to 45 minutes.
5. Blue Bell Ice Cream Cups
Publix lists Blue Bell’s Dutch Chocolate and Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream Cups as a 12-count pack.
The pack has six vanilla and six chocolate cups, each 3 ounces.
No bowls are needed, so you only need a spoon.
If you avoid gluten, both flavors are made without it.
6. Sister Schubert’s Dinner Rolls
Sister Schubert’s Dinner Yeast Rolls are frozen at Publix, and the listing says they go from your oven to the table in a few minutes.
They’re also made without preservatives, artificial colors or trans fats.
You can serve the rolls as a side dish or use them in slider recipes.
7. Anne’s Flat Dumplings
Publix sells Anne’s Old Fashioned Flat Dumplings in the freezer.
Eat This, Not That! named them a shortcut for chicken and dumplings in its 2024 list of the best frozen foods at Publix.
You still make the stew, but the dough is done.
Keep them frozen until you cook them.
8. Edwards Key Lime Pie Slices
Edwards Singles Key Lime Pie Slices are a frozen dessert at Publix, two slices to a pack.
Edwards describes the filling as made with Key West lime juice, topped with whipped crème rosettes over a cookie crumb crust.
The package says you can eat a slice straight from the freezer, or thaw it in the refrigerator 45 to 60 minutes first.
Once you defrost a slice, leftovers keep up to three days in the refrigerator.

Goya's frozen Beef Empanadas at Publix are filled with beef, bell pepper and onion.
The listing says you can skip the rolling and filling.
You can fry, air-fry or bake them straight from the freezer.
An oven takes 12 to 15 minutes at 375°F.
11. Tabatchnick Soups
Publix's freezer case has Tabatchnick soups, including a low-sodium split pea that comes in two cooking pouches.
No sugar is added.
If you'd rather have organic, the brand's certified organic Tuscany lentil soup is on Publix's list too.
Tabatchnick says its family has been making soup since 1905.
You can microwave a bowl of the soup on high for 4½ minutes, stirring occasionally.
12. Smucker's Uncrustables
Smucker's Uncrustables Peanut Butter & Grape Jelly Sandwiches are a frozen item at Publix, four to a box.
You thaw them at room temperature, and the listing says not to microwave them.
They have no high fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners or artificial colors.
They're wrapped separately.
If you pack lunches, you can pull out a sandwich at a time.
Once thawed, they keep in the refrigerator for up to five days.
Don't refreeze them after they thaw.
