6 Lowes Foods Perks North Carolinians Pay for Somewhere Else
Some Lowes Foods stores have a Pick & Prep station, where a sous chef cuts your fruit and veggies while you shop.
With Thanksgiving shopping coming up, that’s one less job waiting for you at home.
Here are the Lowes Foods perks North Carolinians would pay for somewhere else, and which ones depend on your store.
1. Brown Bag 7 No’s
Lowes Foods keeps seven ingredients out of its Lowes Foods Brand items, and its brand page lists them.
The list is called the Brown Bag 7 No’s.
The first three are artificial flavors, artificial preservatives and artificial sweeteners.
Synthetic colors, high fructose corn syrup and monosodium glutamate (MSG) round out the next three.
The seventh is hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated oils.
The tagline for the line is “None of the junk, all of the flavor.”
You can skip the label hunt for those seven.
2. Pick & Prep
Lowes Foods has a Pick & Prep station where a sous chef will cut your fruits and veggies while you shop.
The sous chef cuts your items the way you ask, so you get home faster.
Lowes Foods says its stores offer packaged, grab-and-go fruits and veggies cut fresh throughout the day.
The cutting will “save you time and maybe even a fingertip, too!”
Only the Garner store is listed, so ask your store whether it has a station and you may get to leave the knife at home.
3. Personal Shopper Notes
Lowes Foods To Go lets you add notes for any special requests before you submit your order.
A help article gives the example of asking for green bananas.

You can place your order through the Lowes Foods app or at shop.lowesfoods.com.
