7 Things Harps Employees Wish Arkansans Asked For
If your health plan gave you a prepaid Flex card, you may be able to use it at Harps.
Cards like that work at more than 160 Harps stores across eight states.
Here’s what Harps employees wish more Arkansans asked for, and how to check what your store offers.
Note: This is general information, not insurance advice. Benefits and covered items are subject to change, so check the specifics with your insurer.
1. Curbside Pickup
Harps announced grocery pickup in November 2019, with an associate bringing your order out to your car.
At launch, orders could be ready in as fast as an hour, or scheduled up to five days ahead.
Scheduling went five days out.
Harps set the Conway store’s grand opening for March 12, 2025, and listed curbside pickup and home delivery for it.
Harps listed the same two services for its Fort Smith store, which was set to open Oct. 8, 2025.
2. DoorDash Delivery
Harps added DoorDash to its delivery options in April 2026, joining the DoorDash Marketplace for grocery orders.
Harps has partnered with Instacart since November 2018.
When Instacart delivery launched, Harps said orders could arrive in as little as two hours.
That was 2018.
Now you can use DoorDash too.
What Harps Delivery Costs on DoorDash
Talk Business reported that a typical DoorDash delivery charge without a pass or promotion runs $3.99 to $5.99 for non-members.
$0 deliveries require a DashPass membership, which costs $9.99 or $96 annually.
At the typical charge, the $96 annual price equals roughly 16 to 24 DoorDash deliveries.
3. Health Plan Flex Cards
NationsBenefits announced in May 2026 that its prepaid Flex cards work at more than 160 Harps locations across eight states, Arkansas among them.
The card is validated item by item at checkout.
If your health plan gave you one of these cards, you can use it on approved food-as-medicine items, over-the-counter health and wellness products and other items.
Check with your insurer.
4. Prescription Scanning
The Harps Rx app lets you refill a prescription by entering the Rx number or scanning the bottle with your phone’s camera.
The app is free.
You can also transfer prescriptions from any pharmacy to your preferred Harps location.

7. Blessing Bags
A local news report in November 2025 said that Harps stores across Northeast Arkansas were offering Blessing Bags for the holiday season.

SmartMeals Shopping Assistant
Harps said in March 2026 that it would roll out SmartMeals, an artificial intelligence-powered shopping assistant, across its chain.
SmartMeals would build meal plans around your household size, dietary preferences and budget.

Early summer was the target.
The first wave was slated for 20 to 25 stores.
Meal recommendations through the Harps loyalty program after each shopping trip are listed as an upcoming feature.
Harps Express Fuel
Harps announced a Harps Express site with gas pumps for the Conway store and a Harps Express gas station for the Fort Smith store.
