Aldi’s 16-Pound Turkey Hits Shelves Today. What Pennsylvanians, Floridians and Illinoisans Get in the $39 Dinner for 10
Three boxes of stuffing mix sit on Aldi’s Thanksgiving list, and Aldi says the whole dinner for 10 comes to under $39.
That’s less than $4 a person.
Aldi’s footnote says the actual price will vary based on available product, selections and location, so your total may differ from the headline number.
Here’s what Pennsylvanians, Floridians and Illinoisans get in Aldi’s under-$39 Thanksgiving dinner for 10.
The 16-Pound Turkey
A 16-pound Farmer’s Choice whole turkey anchors Aldi’s under-$39 dinner for 10.
Aldi’s price footnote assumes a meal for 10 that includes the 16-pound bird, so the turkey is part of the total.
Nov. 4 is the date Aldi’s footnote gives for when the turkey becomes available.
The Takeout reported Nov. 6 for the turkey instead.
That’s a two-day gap.
Because the date differs by outlet, make sure the bird is on your store’s shelf before you plan around it.
Aldi’s release says the dinner’s products are clearly marked with a turkey logo on in-store shelves, so you can spot them as you shop.
The Rest of the Dinner
Aldi’s list for the sides starts with 3 pounds of sweet potatoes and 12 ounces of fresh cranberries.
Two packages of Season’s Choice steamable frozen peas fill out the vegetables.
Baby peeled carrots and celery make up the veggie tray.
Bread comes as a 12-ounce package of L’oven Fresh Hawaiian sweet rolls plus three boxes of assorted Chef’s Cupboard stuffing mix.
If you’re baking a pie, the ingredients are Baker’s Corner pumpkin pie mix, Bake House Creations pie crusts, and Friendly Farms whole milk and heavy whipping cream.
The list runs 12 items.
Aldi’s release says it is based on the meal the American Farm Bureau Federation tracks in its Thanksgiving cost survey, so you can compare the two line by line.

Aldi's Price Window
Aldi's Thanksgiving dinner runs from Oct. 14 through Nov. 25, with a price of under $39 for the full list.
Aldi's release says the dinner needs no coupons, loyalty cards, minimum purchases or memberships.
Three items start late.
Fresh cranberries are available Oct. 26, the turkey Nov. 4 per Aldi's footnote, and the pumpkin pie mix Nov. 11, so you can't shop the complete list until that last date.
Prices for the remaining ingredients run from Oct. 14, and every price runs through Nov. 25.
Thanksgiving falls on Thursday, Nov. 26 this year, and Aldi's FAQ lists Thanksgiving Day among the days its stores are closed.
That leaves Nov. 25 as the last day to buy at this price.
What Aldi's Under-$39 Price Covers
The footnote says the actual price will vary based on available product, selections and location, so your total can differ from the headline number.
Aldi's release says the under-$39 price is available through delivery partners DoorDash, Instacart and Uber Eats, and additional delivery and service fees may still apply.
How the Price Compares
Aldi's dinner for 10 comes in more than $16 below the American Farm Bureau Federation's 2025 national average of $55.18, which was down 5% from 2024.
That works out to about $5.52 a person for the national average, against less than $4 a person at Aldi, a gap of more than $1.60.
The lists are close.
The Farm Bureau prices turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, rolls, peas, cranberries, a veggie tray and pumpkin pie, much like Aldi's.
The survey draws on pricing data from all 50 states and Puerto Rico, and volunteers check prices in person and online without using special promotional coupons or combined purchase deals.
In that survey, a 16-pound frozen turkey averaged $21.50, or $1.34 a pound.
Two items match Aldi's list by weight: 3 pounds of sweet potatoes averaged $4.00, up 37% from 2024, and a 12-ounce bag of fresh cranberries averaged $2.28.
The Farm Bureau says its classic menu has remained unchanged since 1986, which keeps the prices comparable from year to year.
Aldi's release says its shoppers have saved an average of 26% on a classic Thanksgiving meal over the last five years, compared with the Farm Bureau's national average.
If you compare the dinner with your receipt, remember the Farm Bureau figure is from 2025.
The gap is a rough guide rather than an exact savings number.
Last Year's Dinner
Aldi's 2025 Thanksgiving dinner for 10 cost $40, according to the company's Oct. 15, 2025 release, so this year's under-$39 price is more than $1 lower.
That meal was built around a 14-pound Jennie-O turkey and had 21 products and ingredients in all, compared with 12 on this year's list.
This year's turkey is 2 pounds bigger.
Nine fewer items.
If you shopped last year's list, you'll notice shells and cheese, brown gravy mix, green beans and 10 pounds of russet potatoes are gone.
Both years' lists carry Hawaiian sweet rolls, cranberries, sweet potatoes, carrots and celery.
The 2025 price window ran longer too, from Oct. 15 through Dec. 24.
That release also noted that prices online may vary slightly from in-store prices in your area.
Finding Aldi Near You
As of October 2026, Nexstar reports, Aldi has more than 2,700 stores across the U.S.
Florida has the most of any state at 346, followed by Illinois at 217 and Pennsylvania at 174.
The three states in the title have more Aldi stores than any other state, so a store carrying the dinner may be closer than you think.
Aldi's FAQ says you can find holiday hours for your local store by using its store locator.
Check the locator first.
Aldi's release says you can add the individual ingredients to your cart in the store.
Online, the whole list goes into your cart in one click for curbside pickup or delivery on Aldi's website.
